  • Clinic-based births have increased by 47%, from approximately 220 per year before rehabilitation to 325 today.
  • More than 90% of surveyed farmers report that reaching existing markets is significantly easier, while the average time required to transport produce to market has fallen by almost a quarter.
  • More than 95% of transport operators report increased trip frequency and expanded service areas.
  • Every young person surveyed reported that access to school had become easier, safer and more reliable.
  • More than 80% of respondents reported population growth along the corridor, reflecting the attraction of improved access to schools, healthcare, markets and economic opportunities.

Security concerns, tribal conflict and the need for complementary infrastructure such as feeder roads, market facilities and road furniture remain important considerations.
