The driving force for using ANSS in a parking lot of the new National Park next to the Sea of Galilee was to minimize the environmental footprint of the project. AnyWay’s engineering team provided the project with a pavement design that included the stabilization of the local marginal soil. The savings to the project were significant from both the environmental impact and economics. About 8,000 tons of imported gravel and 500 tons of asphalt were saved and not imported to the site due to AnyWay’s technology. The savings in truck movements was also significant, as 42 trucks were used to import gravel to the site instead of 186 required for traditional methods. The work on the site took only 3 days.
